I doubt it.
Although the pro talibanis lost more influence, the government is still too scared to deal head on with these crazies.

I know that’s the European way but our President doesn’t resign just because his party loses mid terms.

I don't get it. Why would he step down just because he lost control of Parliament? It won't be easy for him, but that's a good thing. Government should work like a tricycle with square wheels.
Don't get me wrong, I think this guy is a rotten apple, I'm just a big fan of people following the rules they agree to play by.
Kinda wish our Congress would do that on occasion....
