Very few Repubs bothered to vote. Of those over 30 % went for Huckabee. I don’t think this bodes well for McCain. I will never vote for him-never.
So the criteria for being a ‘real conservative’ is voting for McCain?
He barely got 50% in a race that is all but decided. That doesn’t sound too good to me.
Really a great thing to talk about.
Barely?
Let's first talk, FreeRepublic.
The Anti-McCaninites wouldn't have given him that. They're still sucking up their wounds and so hateful they're only considering their small portion of the electorate -- be as important as it mght be.
Democrats won a majority in both houses by the slimmest of slim majorities, race by race.
That still makes them in Congress the top dog.
How will you vote in November?
If you can’t pull over 54% of the vote on a regular basis in your own party primary in a race that is already decided, it shows a level of dissatisfaction among the party that is likely to affect your chances in the general election. McCain couldn’t even break 50% in his home state!
Because . . . it is a primary.
I admit. Being overwhelmned by the mathematis, might you explain how the Democrats in the last Congressional sweep won state by state, even though the margin was within fractions?
No. I’m really not asking you to evaluate that.
In a general election against Hillary or Obama, those conservatives who dont vote for Mccain are not real conservatives.
