I don’t care what race someone is in politics. I would never vote for an empty box marxist like Obama period. I did support Alan Keyes in 2000, however he was a non issue by the time my state voted (NC). Why should race matter in politics? I just want an actual conservative, hopefully one will be nominated in 2012....

Perhaps. Frankly, I don’t care what I’m called any more.
But, but, but.... why then did I vote for Gary Franks a couple of times, several years back? Who was he, you’re asking?
Gary Franks was the [Republican] congressman from my district here in Connecticut. He also happens to be black.
No problems voting for a black congressman who represents conservative principles. But the sad fact is, that _most_ blacks are more “racist” (since you introduced the word to my post) than are whites. And that is why I’m not ready to vote for one for president, yet.
Let me ask you this: would you vote for an Islamic to become president (I dare you to answer that one). I would not.
