The last line of your original post said, obviously sarcastically:

After all, the content isn’t that important.

That is the statement that led me to believe you must have missed the fact that my displeasure with FR stems from its clumsy UI. I did not miss your less emphatic (but no less sarcastic) statement referring to this site as tired, old, and out-dated [sic].

Even though your observation about FR was intended to be sarcastic, I think you nailed it. I have yet to see anyone argue successfully and objectively that modern sites don't beat this one hands-down. From you, even worse than absence of an argument, seems to be a fiercely emotional defensive stance (as evidenced by all the sarcasm).

I'm still open to anyone who can argue objectively on the merits of this site's UI, but so far the result of this discussion seems to be validating my point that this site is, in fact, tired, old, and outdated (to borrow your apt description).

Please only reply if it's constructive and based on something other than a sentiment or a "belief."

out-dated [sic].

Out-dated is in general usage. I love the FR spell check, but to have it be the ultimate answer to how to spell is naive.

Even though your observation about FR was intended to be sarcastic, I think you nailed it.

Yes I did, thank you.

FR is much more usable than those new sites (with all the bells and whistles that make it so cumbersome) that you and the clowns love so much.

From you...seems to be a fiercely emotional defensive stance (as evidenced by all the sarcasm).

If my emotional-less (a sick word to you I imagine) reasoned responses are "fiercely emotional" to you, I'm sure you have never been married.

Oh I see. Sarcasm is evidence of Fierce Emotionalizm.

I use it for humor. Keep that in mind, it will be helpful and quell further embarrassment for you.

I'm sorry to dissapoint you, but I don't think anyone here wants to argure with you about your preferences of sites upon which to post.

I am glad you prefer the other ones, have fun!

Please only reply if it's constructive and based on something other than a sentiment or a "belief."

Instructions followed to a "T."

The exchange we have had has helped me immensely. Without it, I would still be in somewhat of a quandary, torn between content and the delivery mechanism. But your posts have opened my eyes to the fact that there are some fundamental problems here.

I hope the "here" you reference is the liberal environmental laws that are causing the ruin of our planet.

If it refers to this site, bon voyage.

Let's relieve the pressure of the oil under the ocean (causing "seeps" IE pollution you scrape off of your feet) by drilling and cranking up the pumps.

And then because of that environmentally sound move, we might as well use the oil to power the production of our country to benefit all of us (to you) "inconvenient humans."

Some beautiful pictures:

See all the oil on the surface of the ocean there? Oh, there is none? The seeps have been stopped!
