Old people ALWAYS vote so much more than younger ones. Every election cycle: “THIS will be the year of the youth vote!” but every year it’s always the geezers voting.

I always notice it at my polling place—wow, who knew so many old people lived in my neighborhood. It’s like they come out of the woodwork to vote.

That’s why McCain has a chance—there are a LOT of voting geezers around!

I agree completely. My personal memory is that this pattern goes back to McGovern, Mondale, Hartpence/Dukakis, Gore, and Kerry. I don't remember '68, but the "youth candidate" that year got taken out by a palestinian with a pistol.

The attacks on "geezers" so as to argue against voting for "the geezer" will piss off alot of "geezers" and they will mostly end up voting for "the geezer."
