Democrats abroad give Obama 11th straight win
Posted: 22 February 2008 0321 hrs

WASHINGTON - White House hopeful Barack Obama has won his party's primary for Democrats living outside the United States, the Democrats Abroad organization said Thursday.

Obama won 65.6 percent of the vote taken between February 5-12 in 164 countries and territories around the world, including Antarctica, compared to 32.7 percent for his rival Hillary Clinton.

The global primary gives Obama his 11th victory over Clinton, although only seven delegates were at stake.

Obama has won 2.5 international delegates so far with two going to the former first lady, Democrats Abroad said. The remaining 2.5 votes will be determined at the Democrats Abroad Global Convention in Vancouver, Canada, on April 12-13.

"With the U.S. image so badly damaged by the present Administration, American Democrats living overseas were eager to have their voices heard," said Christine Schon Marques, International Chair of Democrats Abroad in Geneva.

Democrats voted online for the first time in 164 countries, allowing a researcher at the US scientific mission at McMurdo Station, Antarctica, to cast her vote.

"The online Democrats Abroad Global Primary expanded the frontier of voting opportunities, and it works easily, even from the harshest continent on Earth," Lutchansky said in a statement released by Democrats Abroad.

What this means is that groups of people who are either extremely Liberal(Western Europe), Extremely Islamic(much of the Middle East), do not like a woman as a leader(much of the Middle East), have serious fears about the USA(The Middle East), want to vote for a black man who acts like he is a Man Of Peace(MOP) and is extremely Liberal and also has strong Islamic ties? Color me surprised.

It matters because these are AMERICANS voting abroad. They have every right as any other citizen of the United States to vote. Their vote counts. To say that Americans living abroad are more liberal, or more Islamic, or more or less AMERICAN is a baseless assertion.

Mr. Obama is on a roll and for good reason. Give kudos where kudos is due. I think I’ve scrutinized Mr. Obama more than any other candidate ever. I’ve tried to dismiss him as a fluffy orator, but after careful analysis I can not.

Ignorance dictates that he has no platform and those following him are merely following fashion. Perhaps reading a couple of his books or perusing his voting record or reading is actual platform would be more helpful that relying on the market driven distillation of the news media and the spin rhetoric of Mr. Obama’s opponents.

Osama Obama is an empty suit.
He doesn’t even know Congress equips our military...doh
His wild comments in the debate last night were hideous.

Apparently, you have not done much research at all.

“Osama Obama”? Turn off your TV. Read something. You might learn the difference.

Barack Obama is a constitutional law professor at one of this nation’s most prestigious law schools. I have no doubt he knows which powers have been bestowed upon Congress and which powers have not.

You read something. The guy is a complete communist and wants to take away the defense of the USA.

He is the most dangerous man to have ever run for POTUS.
