Can’t we just do the whole primary/caucus thing over again...and do it right this time? or how about a little shake-up at the convention? Something?

Uh LeBoutillier endorsed MCain in 2000. Talk about fair weather friends, he probably is the NYT unnamed source, IMO.

I never heard any of this stuff before. It’s a vicious article. Is there proof for any of these accusations?

No proof of the accusations. The NYT (a pox on their printers) is just making this up wholesale and using info from a former JM aid. Yes, she was a lobbyist, and yes, they worked together, but that does NOT an affair make.

The NYT is doing the usual—accusation is all that matters, never mind about the truth.

Thing is, they’re not just messing up John McCain’s life, they’re ruining the life of the woman as well.

McCain has always seemed sort of sleazy to me.

Wrong accusations on my part. I would say that Duncan Hunter would make one heck of a witness. If he was there and gave testimony to such...it happened.

Another person I wish was still running—Duncan Hunter. Sigh.

This guy neglects to mention the Keating Five?

This is really suspicious.

Usual Career Path? Too bad he was POW for 5 years, otherwise he could have gotten his normal promotions and followed the “usual career path”.

Rest of it is so sickening that I had to check the story was about McCain and not Bill Klinton.

Golly gee ... I couldn’t stand the sight of McCain before I read this and now I don’t know what the heck to think ... could the allegations in this article be true??? What a piece of filth if these accounts are accurate.

You may note that this one isn’t from the NYT.

Given the choice of BHO and JMcC I would vote for John even if he were a convicted axe killer.

Then work like hell to thwart any BS moves he made i.e., the phone in campaign to kill the amnesty bill - several times over.

BHO is not acceptable to me on any level, any time or any place. His clinical disorders are magnitudes worse than McC.

And yes - we would survive as a country with BHO however our grandchildren would pay a horrible price.

Years later a Senate Ethics Committee complaint was filed over this incident. In that complaint, the woman was quoted as saying that Congressman McCain used “unreasonable force in a hostile manner.” But the Senate Committee, then chaired by Mitch McConnell, claimed not to have jurisdiction over a matter that took place when McCain was in the House. Any way to check this? Would Duncan Hunter confirm or deny?

Oh come on now you really think the men and liberal women of America care that McCain gets around? tiny bit sarcasm.

That is too funny! Right after 9/11, LeBout jumped all over Bush, basically saying that the attack led back to Iraq and that Bush would never be man enough to go get Saddam. Of course, after Bush went into Iraq he got blasted by LeBout. This guy is such a clown it's unbelievable.

Lemme thank here jess a lil ole second.........uh...Eisenhower........Kennedy..........Clinton................we got a freaking double standard......oh but of course darling Democrats can’t be expected to stay zipped up........but Republicans can’t even ride on a corporate jet with a female. Republicans have to act like Saudis.............separate planes..........women can’t drive etc. or the delicate sensitivities of the males might go absolutely WILD with untamed passion and they cannot be held responsible for their beastly behavior.........
