Did the author bother to provide any evidence or look into the fact HOW he did his job? Did he make a mess out of it?
When you are son of US Admiral, NO MATTER WHAT, whatever job he gets, someone somewhere who didn’t get it, would claim nepotism.
I have known sons of Generals, who know and respect that any misbehavior on their part reflects on their father also.
You are that correct in that there are plenty of people resent privileged and spoiled kids, taking advantage of their position.
Seems to me, that McLame falls into the latter.
