I agree, if anything comes out to corroborate the affair allegation, then McCain is absolutely finished. I imagine the same GOP establishment that has rallied around him would force him to step aside.

That being said, I find it hard to believe that McCain would risk flushing his honorable record of service to the country down the toilet in such a fashion. At his press conference today, that is essentially what he put on the line.

It’s clear that Weaver is the “democrat” alter ego of McCain. Weaver even changed his political affiliation from Repub to Dem — it’s no secret.

I suspect Weaver has just gotten into the habit of talking all the time, and about too much, to the MSM, who McCain has of coure assiduously courted.

I suspect Weaver told mostly the truth, maybe with a touch of self-aggrandizement salted on top.
