All we need is another spineless country club Republican in the House.

Pretty much, wouldn’t say spineless as I don’t know Pedan...

The worst part is NPR trying to tell us who a good Republican is.

Another Paulbot heard from outside CD 14. Maybe RP can move up to Indiana and run for Congress up there, so you can vote for him. :)

If NPR were available in print, I’d have more supplies for cleaning up oil spills.

Is Paul still trailing by double digits for his seat in Congress?

Oh, boy. Now anyone who speaks in favor of him is a “Paulbot”.

I’m actually more of a Menckenbot, a Nisbetbot, a Schumpeterbot, a Lukacsbot, and a Thatcherbot.

Yes, I’m sure NPR will have plenty of good advice for us to take back the House and Senate, too.

I haven't seen any scientific polls for the CD 14 race, but from talking to a lot of people across the district and contrasting the lack of RP signs across the district (outside of Brazoria County), Peden is favored 2 to 1 over Paul. In talking to Republican activists and elected officials, Peden is favored 10 to 1 over Paul.

No doubt Paul is worried, since he refuses to debate Peden, even when challenged in front of a group of students and with the local Fox News crew filming his refusal to debate. The more Paul refuses to debate, the more free media coverage that Peden gets.

That’s exactly what they said about Barry Goldwater in 1964 and Wm. F. Buckley when he ran for the NYC mayoralty in 1966.

Paul is eccentric, and not my cup of tea on every issue. But the Party and the House of Reps can use a handful of mad squires (in the grand Tory tradition).

I did see a poll where he was down 11 or 14 points. Can’t remember which.

That's what I've heard.

Ron Paul's presidential supporters outside the district who have kept sticking their noses in our business have not done Ron Paul and favors. Especially the ones that have called Peden's home in the middle of the night saying very nasty things. People in our district don't think too much of that kind of stuff....

The only reason NPR exists is, because just like the BBC, it gets its primary funding from the government. Meaning it doesn’t have to answer to anyone and can spout whatever bias it wants because it never has to worry about paying the bills.

Look on the bright side, if Paul gets defeated he can be in his Obama's cabinet and they can lose the war together.

I couldn’t imagine two people more opposite in disposition or political philosophy.

McCain has more in common with Obama than Ron Paul does. To name a few issues: immigration policy, restrictions on free speech, cap-and-trade system to end global warming.

Perhaps this attempt to suppress votes and candidates needs to go national.
