The Barack Obama campaign has sent out a fundraising e-mail that equates a new pro-Hillary Clinton group with the Swift Boat Veteran for Truth that opposed John Kerry’s presidential candidacy in 2004.
As Newsmax reported on Wednesday, Democratic insiders have set up a new independent 527 organization called the American Leadership Project to help Hillary beat Obama in Ohio — and possibly Texas and Pennsylvania as well.
The e-mail from Obama’s campaign manager, David Plouffe, states: “The so-called ‘American Leadership Project’ will take unlimited contributions from individuals and is organized the same way as the infamous Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.
“ABC News reports that this group is seeking 100 Clinton supporters to each give $100,000 to fund its $10 million effort to promote Senator Clinton and ‘contrast’ her positions with Barack Obama’s…
“Groups like this are forbidden from working primarily for the purpose of electing or defeating a candidate. Yet here we have a committee that springs up on the eve of an election, promotes a specific candidate, and has no history or apparent purpose of lobbying specific issues outside the benefit to the candidate or these communications. This raises a number of legal and ethical issues…
But the ‘American Leadership Project’ should be interesting to watch as they attempt to nuke Obama.

Corporations, unions, and special interest groups will donate for a favor or two from Cankles.
The only way the two groups could even come close to being comparable is if the ‘American Leadership Project’ presents democrat Senators who served with Obama in the Senate and expose what a phony he is.
Obama’s forked tongue should catch on fire if he dares to slander the Swift Boat Veterans and POW’s for truth. They are each 10x the man Braaaak Hinsain Yomamma will ever be.
Where do we make donations?
Obama’s political followers are confused. Hillary’s people are something else.
Barack Hussein Obama is a couple of years younger than I am, which means too young for Vietnam, so there's no draft deferment/National Guard issue they can use against him. The same question could be asked of Hillary or Huckabee.

B3ecause 527 aren’t part of a candidates campaign, but act independently. So there is no limit on how much can be contributed to them...or that was the way they were *supposed* to work...but then, Dems found loopholes, and then the GOPers followed suit in self defense. If Obama can prove a link to HTCs people, he could get it shut down.
