That sure seems to be the case. If she needed him to write a letter to Immigration, then her visa was based on their marriage.
I hate to blame the victim, but sure looks like he stepped into it with this one.
This case seems to be about a foreign criminal who took advantage of a man, who may or may not have been able to find a woman any other way.
I had no idea that you were an ex-con. You don’t seem surly...
Evidently, that person did no know the person her was married to.
I would love to know if he knew this woman before marriage for days, months, or years.
I would say that if you really investigated both sides of the stories you would probably have a different take than what is presented. It is probably 60/40 are 50/50. A lot of loser men are involved from the cases I have read but a gold digger is a gold digger no matter where she was born.
“...I have a white, native born, American citizen friend whose whose white, native born, American citizen wife physically assaulted him. He called the Police, she started crying about nonexistent “abuse” and he ended up behind bars in jail...”
I’ve heard of that happening plenty. Combine these incidents with women getting away with murdering their husbands and one is given to wonder...
LOL I’m not an ex con, just naturally surly.

My girlfriend gets pretty irritated about the whole foreign brides thing because people assume that’s how she got here and that all women from that part of the world are seeking to escape.
She has a whole sarcastic story for people who think stupid crap. She tells them about her last look at Mama, Papa, her 9 brothers, and 12 sisters at the flap of their mud hut on the outskirts of Belgade....
What do you want to bet she was a “mail order” bride. That’s what he gets.
Fortunately not in every case. My ex tried to pull that... but she wound up spraying some chemical in my face prior to the cops SHE called arriving. She went to jail. Likewise the time she assaulted me and left a 5-stitch gash in my head. So sometimes there is justice.
As a former member of law enforcement and continuing to hold my posse card, it saddens me to see this system SO TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF! They have a way of ruining people’s lives, not just that of those they accuse. I have worked with many extended family members whose military member stands accused and the State of Texas as well as the Federal Gov’t should be held accountable in this one.
I await the day when justice will be served for the innocent military members. First and foremost, you can’t dictate whom a person should marry BUT when it comes to these military personnel, I think the time has come that during basics training, they should have a basics training 101 on this particular issue. I would first ask those who have “lived” this experience the opportunity to do some peer mentoring on the issue. There is nothing better than first hand experience.
I always hate storys that claim the person being “screwed” is perfect. No way that this is the whole story. There normally isn’t a clear saint or sinner. Need more information before I can pass judgment. Plus throwing the four years of service in the story is crap. Many people do four years of military service and that does not make you perfect.
If the facts are correct, what difference does it make who wrote it?
That the feminists have been successful in destroying many aspects of the American family should be clear to any but feminazis and their political allies (A.K.A. Liberals).
Since I have several friends who are pilots, as well as friends in the military, I have heard many horror stories about those who married “furrin women”.
Alas, many found themselves with a “furrin wymon” - and don’t forget the swarm of lawyers that are also included.
As always, the root cause turns out to be the usual suspects, i.e. socialism impaired lawyers, NGO whackos, goobers from some hyper-intrusive gooberment agency, ad nauseam.
A common practice is for the oriental “bride” to have married a simple, trusting American. “Wifey” comes to the land of the “Big PX” and keeps in touch with her previous lover.
When “wifey” decides, she walks into a door when Hubby is home, calls the cops, and the nightmare commences.
What concerns me is that is America continues to learn to fear and loath its lawyers, courts, and the law - soon, we will no longer be a Republic.
I don’t know if that part passes the “smell test.”
“If the facts are correct, what difference does it make who wrote it?”
You are right, it doesn’t matter. I was just inquiring whether a fellow Freeper was the person affected and wrote the article verses pulling the story off the net somewhere.
What’s your point?
