Could somebody check my math?
I’ve tried calculating this several different ways.
I keep getting the GOP is off by a factor of 10 (although I suppose that could explain the Federal deficit)
Does anybody see where I’m making an error?
13 * (10^12) * (.7%) = 91 000 000 000
or
.7% of 13 trillion = 91 000 000 000
91 000 000 000 / one billion = 91
Sorry....
>>Over a 13-year period, from 2002, when the U.N.’s Financing for Development conference was held, to the target year of 2015, when the U.S. is expected to meet the Millennium Development Goals, this amounts to $845 billion.<<
They are counting for the 13 years... and apparently assuming the GPD will go down - I guess they really are planning on an Obama administration.
