Run, Ralph, Run! Ralph Nader in Berkeley, California.

If I had it, I’d write him a $10 million dollar check today.

Ralph to those who don’t know is a ‘decentralist anarchist’. Still a communist, but with a twist.

Best overheard conversation about Ralph Nader, by some teenagers.
“Is that Ralph Nader guy running for President too?”
“Who’s he?”
“I think he tipped his car over and so he wants to be President.”

won’t cost the “Magic Monkey” a single electoral vote. He did in 2000.

He might but he won’t be a factor. Even the DUmmies have turned on him.

Ralph's Quixotic attempt to get on the ballot in this state in 2004 showed just what length the RAT machine would go to in order to herd their lemmings to Kerry. First, they went through his petitions one name at a time to disqualify signors on the most minute of technicalities. Once they succeeded in disqualifying enough signatures, they then went to court to rule that write-ins would only count if all 21 names of his electors were listed correctly.
Meanwhile, Kerry votes were already found on the machines when certain Philadelphia precincts opened. Several of them reported 110% turnout and the state was declared for Kerry by 10 p.m. while the poll place we were assigned to watch was still voting. In the end, Kerry's win margin in Pennsylvania was approximately the same as Bush's margin in Ohio next door which didn't declare a winner until the next day.

Great idea. A Ralph Nader/Al Gore ticket. Now that is a “ticket to ride”.
Cynthia McKinney, a red as a green. We can now call her the “Watermelon Girl”, green on the outside, red on the inside. In Canada, this would be known as the “Red Green Show.”
Calling Godfrey Chambers! (i.e. the movie “Watermelon Man”)
Calling MongoSantamaria (i.e. the song “Watermelon Man”)

Four years after he announced a presidential run on NBC's "Meet the Press," Ralph Nader is poised to do it again. At this point it doesn't matter one way or another.
We're stuck with an incompetent liberal irregardless.

I was wondering when he'd turn up. The more the merrier, I say. He should suck away some of the peaceniks who are uncomfortable with Obama's statements on Iran.
Since it now looks like neither Mike Bloomberg nor Ron Paul will be making a third-party run, the only other likely third-party candidate out there in my eyes is Jim Gilchrist, who I'm betting will end up declaring his candidacy to run on the Constitution Party ticket once Huckabee drops out.
Nader will suck votes exclusively from Obama, while Gilchrist will suck them from McCain. It'll be interesting to see who sucks more.
