It seems the Haditha Marines need more help. To send a check you will also need to copy the form available at this link:

Do you think it's wrong to help Marines? That's all Newsmax is doing.

Thanks for posting this, Mike, NewsMax has gone above and beyond for these Marines!

They raised over $250,000 in the first go around for the civilian defense of three enlisted Marines, now they’re giving it a second go.

Thanks for the ping, Smooth.

“Do you think it’s wrong to help the Marines? That’s all Newsmax is doing”

Of course I don’t think it’s wrong to help the Marines.
But, Newsmax is a sleazy website which exists solely to make money for its owner, Christopher Ruddy.

Sorry, chasing rabbits that don’t exist. My bad. As a subscriber to NewsMax, I acquiesce and apologize for my intrusion. ;-)

NewsMax is a business. Most publishers exist to make money. Ain’t none of ‘em perfect.

Better private control than government house organ though, eh?

The Haditha Marines is a worthy cause.

WND (WorldNetDaily) also gets beat up here a lot more than deserved, frankly.

Good.

Well, if that's your opinion, you're certainly entitled to it. It's hardly sustainable, given that if Newsmax didn't exist, it couldn't have raised over $300,000 to help defray the financial burden the Haditha Marines have had to bear in defending themselves. It's a good example of what capitalism (or greedy capitalism as you see it) can do to be a good corporate citizen.
