"Is this a messianic movement? A cult of personality? Or just good ol' fashioned politics?" Those are the questions an Internet blog called "Is Barack Obama the Messiah?" began with one year ago.
By simply highlighting media reports since then including WND's account of an Obama rally in Seattle the website has captured the wave of euphoria that has followed the Democratic senator's remarkable rise to the brink of the party's presidential nomination.
The site, laced with photos and magazine covers illustrating the theme, is topped by a Obama quote strategically ripped from a Jan. 7 speech at Dartmouth College just before the New Hampshire Primary in which he told students, "
a light will shine through that window, a beam of light will come down upon you, you will experience an epiphany, and you will suddenly realize that you must

With George Soros pulling his strings, Obama has went from being a NOBODY to being a choice next to Cruella Deville Hillary, and McCain which rhymes with "insane". No one is voting for these people. These are media creation candidates. They're all hype and promotion. We honestly have no voice anymore. It's like a pro-wrestling fight where the "winner" is chosen the night before in the locker room.
When you look at the crowd in Seattle you see lemmings and sheep who are easily lead to the slaughter. Liberalism is indeed a mental illness.
Nobody is talking about Oprah’s hand in all of this. His rise really took hold when she entered the fray.
To the liberal left he is.
more like the antichrist....
If these adoring people believe in Christ and the Bible, then they also believe the existence of the antichrist at some point. Obama fits just about every description the Bible gives about the antichrist. When he starts speaking about “one-world religion” we will know for sure.
It's probably the ONLY way to save the western world.
I'd say it's more of a spiritual illness, and reminds me of the phrase, "If you don't stand for something, you'll believe in anything".
Sheep, indeed!
The Liberal Left always has a Cult of Personality for it current leader. It just varies in strength depending on the charisma of the “dear leader” of the moment. Clinton had a similar cult of personality following in 1992 and 1996. It just rarely gets as virulent as it is this year for Obama
“Is Obama the Messiah?”
He thinks he is, that’s become evident.
Absolutely. Both the Bible and the Left Behind series describe Barack Obama to a “T”. But remember, the antichrist doesn’t even know who he is until after the Rapture. This man fits it all and is also causing the exact same euphoria and adoration.
I can easily see the 666. Someone figure up his number.
Put an “Anti” in front of the term and you’re getting warmer......
This nobody with so little experience, enthralling people with such vapid, vacuous, vague and tired catch phrases...
You absolutely know which candidate Satan’s put his chips on for this election.
The reactions to Obama speeches are reminiscent of Hitler’s appearances at the Nuremburg rallies. I’m not saying that Obama is Hitler, but the quasi-religious fervor that’s becoming associated with Obama is getting downright disturbing.
Oprah, the evil CEO who makes more in a day than her employees do in a year. Oprah, who makes jokes about the ‘white people who work for HER.’
Somehow those top two pictures didn’t manage to capture the Designated Fainter of the respective events. The DF (and the miraculous healing of same person) is an essential part of Obama manifestations.
It’s been noted numerous times in the past, but it’s scary how vacant the faces in liberal crowds always look.
It looks like most are waiting for the mothership
Part of it is a “HATE BUSH SO MUCH” attitude that has never been satisfied, combined with a “democrat candidate I can love” (ie not Hillary) feeling.
As I live in Indonesia, I won't disagree :-)
Passage Matthew 24:24:
24For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the electif that were possible.
It is both mental and spiritual as they are dependant upon one another.

Enthralled Hitler Youth salute Adolf Hitler after his arrival in the stadium during the 1934 Nuremberg rally
Is your first name Peter?
That why I specified "Mainland Asia", we want to keep you. :-)
The anti-Christ?
Maybe.
He is a farce.
Believes in late term abortion.
I find it very scary.
They are devoid of logic and intelligence. All thought based upon emotion rather than reason and an analysis of the facts. This is the result of the policies of the National Education Association (NEA) a subversive organization if you have ever seen one. I do not blame people who home school who do not want their children to become brain dead idiots like this crowd.
Hillary could not be the antichrist because she is not generally liked by the masses and never was. The antichrist will be charming, engaging, magnetic, and liked by the masses. Let’s face it — Obama really IS a likable sort of fellow, even though we don’t like his politics. And it is that very magnetism, that “likeability” that the antichrist will have. Also the antichrist will speak of a one-world order and a one-world religion (eventually). His background will be multicultural, and his popularity will be almost overnight without much of a background to lend logic or credence to this. All of these things describe Barack Obama. Read the Bible about the endtimes..... I do believe we’re here, that he’s the antichrist, and I’ve never felt that way before.
“Is Obama the messiah?”
No he’s not. Christ is the Messiah — and when he returns he won’t be running for President.
What’s really disturbing to me is that top photo of him on that staircase. Creepy beyond words.
You’ll get no argument from me. I’ve noticed the peculiar antichrist like characteristics of Obama from the beginning, but bit my lip so as not to sound like an end-times nutcase.
Could it be that Obama is truly “The Anti-Christ” finally showing up? I suppose we could all watch “The Omen” and substitute Obama in the movie and here we are.
LOL!! They sure do look like the Raellians.
I’m getting a lot of feedback like yours on several threads and privately. The thing is... none of us want to sound like nutcases. But if you think about it, Christians know that the Bible is true, so why should someone be labeled a nutcase for simply stating a biblical fact — (the absolutely existence of the antichrist at some point) and an opinion that that point may well be now.
Hussein currently fits that messiah role like a glove.
The great Catholic Christian intellectual G.K. Chesterton has been incorrectly quoted as saying that "someone who will not believe in God does not then believe in nothing, but in anything."
Actually, he did say this:
"People readily swallow the untested claims of this, that, and the other. It's drowning all your old rationalism and skepticism, it's coming in like a sea; and the name of it is superstition. It's the first effect of not believing in God that you lose your common sense and can't see things as they are. Anything that anybody talks about, and says there's a good deal in it, extends itself indefinitely like a vista in a nightmare."
So modern man (and woman) is ready to believe in new gods like Obama and imaginary demons like Global Warming.
Obama is the Madhi that has arisen from the well!
LMAO!
Osam...errr...Obama the messiah? Not! More like the guy whose number is 666!
I thought Oprah was the anti-Christ until Obama came along.
