“George McGovern, the former South Dakota senator and presidential candidate, endorsed Hillary Clinton in Iowa City on Saturday.”

And in more breaking news today Jane, the sun did come up in the east and expected to set in the west, followed by a period of dark.

McGovern lost Texas by a slim margin (that is, compared to how he did in Utah).

1972 popular vote in Texas:

Nixon, Republican...............2,298,896
McGovern, Democrat..........1,154,289
Jenness, Socialist Workers..........8,664
Schmitz, American......................6,039
others.........................................3,393

McGovern's share of the vote was about 33% (Nixon was just short of beating him 2 to 1).

"I think that if we can elect her president, she'll be a greater president even than her brilliant husband,"

Only in the looking-glass world of the Left would the "endorsement" of a man who suffered the worst defeat in the country's history be accounted an asset. And with this statement, he shows himself even more senile than he was in 1972.

How well does that "endorsement" sits with the bent one???
