People in Ohio were losing manufacturing jobs a LONG TIME before NAFTA ever came around... high taxes and greedy unions are the problem, not a mushy free-trade agreement.

I know that hurts to hear, but.. it’s the truth. In the 1970’s, the street of Houston were FILLED with “rust-belt transplants”.

That is totally untrue. Cheap foreign steel dumped on the markets drove the steel industry out of business.

I've tried telling people that China isn't even in NAFTA, but I've given up on that....

Let’s not forget “the Mistake by the Lake” (Cleveland), made infinitely worse by none other than the “Boy Mayor”, Dennis Kucinich. In case anyone’s keeping score, much of Cleveland’s (and Ohio’s) past and current problems are an illustration of the 3,000,000,000,000,000th failure of Socialism as an ideology.
