I think 1984 was the last time Maryland voted for a Rep for President right?

I’ll verify that all of Merryland is suffering from buyer’s remorse right about now.

I scratch my head and wonder why they hell they fired Ehrlich!

The very fine, very, very fine and honest O’Malley raised sales taxes in Merryland and the whole state is up in arms.

Well duh.

Ehrlich saved Baltimore schools and now the dip who replaced O’Malley as Mayor is methodically destroying them again.

I think a pubbie will win in Merryland, at least as Governor, handily, next go round.

A national lesson could be learned from Merryland is what I’m saying here.

Probably, I wasn’t here then. I was an ex-pat.

)))

I don’t think I made my point earlier when I referenced the America in Miniature analogy. I was thinking about the ability of Americans to swallow “HOPE” as a reason to go to the polls. I was not thinking about Md’s electoral votes.

Obama is a CabbagePatch doll, a male Paris Hilton or J-Lo, or whatever is the fad of the moment.

There will be stupendous buyer’s remorse if he wins, but I see that he can sway the majority of voters, when he is pitted against ‘the grandfather, the old guy, the old grouch, etc”

That’s true for quite a few blue states.
