So your point is that you think you will have more leverage over Obama or Hillary? Not if you give away the presidency, Congress and the Supreme Court.

You won't recognize America after they get through with it, and you can bet our conservative principles will be mere anachronisms by the time they're finished.

If your issue is immigration, why do you think Hillary or Obama will be better than McCain when illegals means electoral victories to Democrats?

Remember, it took 16 years after the Goldwater debacle to get Reagan, a divorced former Democrat. This time it may be much longer. I hope I'm wrong, but you, my friend, have been warned.

1. My point is that conservatives will have NO influence over any of them AND I do not trust McCain on anything. At least the other two will behave as expected. McCain's insanity makes it difficult to predict his behavior and I do not want him near the button. Hillary may actually be as tough on the WOT as him because she will not want to appear weak.

2. I am sick of people like you dragging out the boogey man as a reason to vote for McCain. I see very little differences between him and the other two as far a damage goes.

3. The only thing left to decide is the method of destruction of the conservative movement. Do you want to hung, shot, run over or poisoned? Those are you choices.

Sorry, you can't have your favorite pick.

When the going got tough, you quit.

Worse, you're willing to sacrifice your country.

Nice platitudes there but my involvement or lack of it will not be the reason this country sinks. This country will sink because the REP party has kicked conservatives out with a vengeance and taken the middle of the road path to try and attract more voters. It has and will continue to backfire on them. Me, I am going hunting election week. I will fire up the Dish net on Desert 2 and see who won on Wednesday. Then I will decide if I am coming back.

I cut my teeth on the Reagan Revolution so do not tell me I quit when the going gets tough. I would follow any leader the REP put forth as long as it is isn't McCain. He is nuts. Oh and I had no pick in this cycle. The most tolerable was Fred but even he did not really float my boat.

Fred was a McCain sycophant who, as Senate Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman looking into Chinese Army dirty money paid to the Clinton campaign, let octogenarian John Glenn run circles around him. So much for your powers of analysis.

So much for YOURS. I said Fred was the most tolerable. NOT the perfect candidate. Your comprehension disorder is now boring me. Oh and take your insults and shove them up your a$$. Nice discussion start name calling right away. Are you a Hillary Shill here trying to prop up McCain? If so they are paying you too much.

I find McCain detestable mostly for his treachery, failure to understand the consequences of his votes, and his disregard of the Constitutional protections for free speech.

Here is McCain in a nutshell, as I had posted several times:

Old
Angry
Unstable
Unhealthy
Unreliable
Keating Five
Compromised
Guantanamo
John Weaver
Anti-ANWAR
Gang of 14
Swift-boats
Immigration
Bush tax cuts
Anti-business
English standard
Undercut Iraq War
Campaign finance
Free speech limits
Global boondoggles
Embryonic stem cells
Hidden skeletons
Kerry VP material
NY Times pick
Media darling
Unelectable

That said, by hanging on to candidates with no chance of winning primaries, we gave up our options. Belatedly, we must face reality. Nurse your wounds. McCain, a fluke, is nevertheless preferable to the alternatives.

Or, were you asleep during the Clinton years? Perhaps, you really did believe their propaganda. For instance, you say Hillary would be stronger on WOT. The Democrat base will not allow Hillary to be strong on defense and the War on Terror. They will have leverage on her, plus her track record on foreign policy with Slick during the 1990s was a dismal failure.

Let's agree that you are so mad you can't think straight, witness your own user label. To compensate, you've begun to swear like a two-bit whore. But, there is hope for your type.

But don't take my word for it. Do some reading, then think long and hard about the candidates and the differences between them. Do you really want Hillary or Obama controlling your life?

Your assumptions are way off base. I have not even begun to swear and if you believe a$$ is swearing grow up. I do not support ANY of the candiadtes that are running. Like I said (three times now) I did not support Fred - just found him the most tolerable. And yes Hillary is preferable to McCain when it comes ot many issues. Her insanity runs in a different vein. No I do not agree I am so mad I cannot see straight. I actually see things clearer when I am mad. You reverse sellling of McCain does not work with me or most others here. Reverse points only works on people who have no core integrity. So quit trying to put words in my posts and making assumptions your snugness is boring. The let’s just settle for McCain is what got us here not working for other candiates. The REPS party mismanagment and stupidity along wiht Jorge Arbusto’s arrogance is what got us here - not my lack of support for any candiate.

Your contortions are intriguing, but maybe Reps would have more courage if their supporters weren't so spineless.

You say Hillary is preferable to McCain on many issues. Name three, and offer the evidence. This will be an good test of your "core integrity." The words will be your own.

I don’t want to reward McCain for 8 years of spitting in the face of conservatives.

No amnesty for McCain.

I too voted straight Republican in 2006. I voted for George Allen. I voted for Frank Wolf. So did my dad.

Voting against McCain (but not for Obama or Hillary) does not equal voting for Obama or Hillary. And, if that's the only reason to vote for McCain that conservatives can come up with, that's pretty pathetic...and indicative of the fact that the Republicans will probably get slammed hard in November.

Oh yea more insults from the keyboard liberal. OOHHH guess you told me with your snide comments!!! Wow so insightful and brilliant. Go gaze at some more glass ware and peddle your BS else where (maybe you can write a poem about my “contortions”). You know nothing of my efforts or accomplishments and your silly stupid assumptions are ridiculous.

Plus, if any form of Universal healthcare is ever instituted, abortion coverage will be included.

Ouch!  I hadn't thought of that.

Your post, “John McCain’s top ten temper explosions,” suggests that you believe that Hillary would make a better president because McCain loses his temper, never mind the fact that you dodged my question about why you would prefer Hillary over McCain.

Are you really unaware of Hillary’s famous temper? Here are some citations, several from FreeRepublic:

“If, at this point, you want to read some vicious, mean-spirited quotes by Sen. Clinton, they and others have been gathered together in a new book, “I’ve Always Been a Yankees Fan”: Hillary Clinton in Her Own Words” by Thomas D. Kuiper. In a foreword by Dick Morris, he writes, “Hillary thinks that nobody is keeping track and that her quotes will never catch up with her.”

“Following her now classic statement that a “vast right-wing conspiracy” had been “conspiring against my husband since the day he announced for president”, Hillary reportedly told her aides, “That’ll teach them to f—k with us.” History, of course, would reveal that President Clinton was guilty of having sex in the Oval Office, lying to a federal judge about it, had his membership to the bar dismissed, and, in his final hours as president, engaged in an orgy of very questionable pardons. Et cetera!

“In a speech to religious leaders in 1997, Hillary said, “I have to confess that it’s crossed my mind that you could not be a Republican and a Christian.”

— Alan Caruba writes a weekly column, “Warning Signs”, posted on the Internet site of The National Anxiety Center, www.anxietycenter.com.

THE ‘ABNER MIKVA’ FACTOR: Why hillary clinton will not get the nomination, January 19, 2007

For the coup de grace, let me present:

Top 10 Most Ridiculous Quotes by Hillary Clinton
Human Events Online ^ | April 18, 2006 | Thomas D. Kuiper

10. “It’s been said, and I think it’s accurate, that my husband was obsessed by terrorism in general and al-Qaida in particular.”
(Hillary telling a post-9/11 world what a great commander in chief her husband was; Dateline, NBC 4/16/2004.)

9. “I have to admit that a good deal of what my husband and I have learned [about Islam] has come from our daughter.”
(Circa 1996, at a White House function, Hillary proudly tells some Muslim groups she is gaining a greater appreciation of Islam because Chelsea was then taking a class on the “religion of peace”; TruthInMedia.org 8/8/1999.)
Note: See No. 4. Muslim groups, with ties to Hamas, were welcomed at the Clinton White House. But not Republicans.

8. “Many of you are well enough off that [President Bush’s] tax cuts may have helped you. We’re saying that for America to get back on track, we’re probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We’re going to have to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.”
(Hillary to her fellow liberals in a speech in San Francisco; SFGate.com 6/28/2004.)

7. “Why do I have to keep proving to people that I am not a liar?”
(First Lady Hillary in her 2000 Senate campaign; “The Survivor,” p. 382, by John Harris.)

6. “A right-wing network was after his presidency...including perverting the Constitution.”
(To Barbara Walters about the Republicans who impeached her husband; 20/20, ABC 6/8/2003.)
Note: Even though it is common knowledge what Clinton did with Monica Lewinsky and a cigar, Hillary claims the Republicans are the perverts.

5. “Son of a bitch.”
(Hillary’s opinion of President George W. Bush when she found out he secretly visited Iraq just days before her highly publicized trip to Iraq; “American Evita,” p. 259, by Christopher Anderson.)

4. “What are you doing inviting these people into my home? These people are our enemies! They are trying to destroy us!”
(Hillary’s reaction to an aide, when she found out that some Republicans had been invited to the Clinton White House, circa 1993; “The Survivor,” p. 99, by John Harris.)
Note: She said this just months after Islamic terrorists bombed the World Trade Center, attempting to kill everyone at the WTC complex.

3. “I mean, you’ve got a conservative and right-wing press presence with really nothing on the other end of the political spectrum.”
(Hillary complains about the mainstream media, which are all conservatives in her opinion; aired on C-Span, 1/19/1997.)

2. “Come on Bill, put your dick up. You can’t **** her here.”
(Hillary to Gov. Clinton when she spots him talking with an attractive female at an Arkansas political rally; “Inside The White House,” p. 243, by Ronald Kessler.)

1. “You sold out, you mother******! You sold out.”
(While an intern on Capitol Hill, Hillary Rodham yells at a prominent Democrat lawyer because he was representing someone from a large, profit-driven corporation; “Inside,” p. 213, by Joseph Califano.)
