Not really. The electoral vote shows a tilt in their favor. Sounds like it drives a stake into McCain, if anything.
Polls this far out from the election are just about meaningless.
Sorry.
Eight months is a lonmg time, but if McCain can save himself from imploding, he can beat both revolting Hillary and repulsive Obama.
Polls are meaningless, its all about Ohio. Given the Hillary vs Obama poll numbers their, looks like we may have hope in November
The internals were interesting. Of those conservatives who said they would never vote for McCain 63% knew in their hearts they would, come November.
Not surprising. Neither Democrat can compete in red states, mainly because of their unelectability, while McCain can compete in blue states.
The GOP will win the presidency in November.
What happen to judy, 60 days ago he had it locked up. Dang!
"On Sunday, the Rasmussen Reports Balance of Power Calculator shows the Democrats with a 284 to 229 lead in the Electoral College. States with 25 Electoral Votes remain in the toss-up category (see recent daily results).
If leaners are not included, the Democrats lead 238 Electoral Votes to 189. A total of 270 Electoral Votes are needed to win the White House.
Today, North Carolina shifts from Safe Republican to Likely Republican based upon data from Rasmussen Markets. Additionally, Wisconsin shifts from Likely Democrat to Leans Democrat based upon data from Rasmussen Markets and a new poll released today. New polling was also released for New Mexico, and the state remains in the Leans Democrat category.
Ten states with 111 Electoral Votes are either a pure Toss-Up or just slightly leaning to one party or the other. These are likely to be the early battleground states of Election 2008: Florida (27), Ohio (20), Virginia (13), Missouri (11), Colorado (9), Iowa (7), Nevada (5), New Mexico(5), New Hampshire (4), and Wisconsin."
Hows that, mccain going to fall over.
The whine is something else!
Well, congratulations McCain supporters. You guys should break out the champaign.
But, but, he is not a right wing kook so he aint’ getting my vote.
John
make that champagne. It might be easier to swallow.
Straight to God’s ear!
Count me in that group. I know what I’m getting and not getting with McCain, and I’m willing to endure it.
Outside of Mccain getting buried by the media, and all other things being equal, the white union democrat vote in Ohio may look toward JM over Obama.
John McCain - IQ Score Range: 120 - 130.
Nine more months of daily polls.
Oh boy.
