Hillary and Obama are both horrible candidates. Can you imagine either of them sitting across the table from someone like V. Putin? I’m sure Hillary would impress him with her tears. Why hasn’t more been made about the Che’ poster at one of Obama’s campaign offices? His type of change scares me.
As for Mr. McCain, I am still waiting for him to do something to reach out for my vote. I don’t see he has done anything yet to earn it. Does anybody out there know when he is going to reach out? A very conservative VP would go a long way for me.
He voted for Alito ! Osama is a radical socialist. He will appoint some Daley machine union hack . Did you hear his speech after the WI win ? Pure Marxism .
It doesn’t matter what their polling data is telling them right now, no matter how many liberal loons turn out in east Charlotte, Asheville, Durham and Raleigh. NC is completely safe for McCain. I’m willing to bet that McCain will easily beat his opponent in Nov, barring a major Howard Dean moment or an extreme October surprise.
Plus, there is this little problem:
Barack Obama and His Support for Islamic Sharia Law and al Qaeda
I shake my head at how folks can get snookered so bad, and then turn around and let themselves be manipulated some more.
How quickly they forget that according to the pollsters, for over a year, Rudy Giuliani was “inevitable.”
The only hope for this republic is that one of these days people wake up to the fact that THEY are the sovereign in this country, not the media, not the party bosses, and most certainly not the pollsters.
There are seven reasons for anyone to support the eventual nominee no matter who it is: The war and six Supreme Court justices over the age of 68. Hugh Hewitt
Kamikaze Republicansthose who say theyll never vote for John McCain because he isnt conservative enoughmay get what they deserve. The Clintons... It isnt necessary to love everything McCain has done to vote for him should he be the nominee. But it isnt possible to argue that theres no difference between McCain and Clinton (or Barack Obama), as some Republicans insist. Kathleen Parker
A wise aphorism has it that the perfect is the enemy of the good. While conservatives tilt their noses expressively in the air at the idea of John McCains representing a movement he votes with 85 percent of the time, Democrats offer the electorate two strong believers in the power of big government, two babes in the woods when it comes to foreign policy, two fast friends of every liberal interest from pro-choice to gay rights to lets-kill-the-Bush-tax-cuts. William Murchison
We are a movement that believes in personal responsibility, so its time to take some. There are consequences to losing. Now is the time to rebuild and re-group, not whine or complain or sulk. Reagan lost many political battles along the way but never lost hope in the enduring nature of basic conservative principles. Neither should we. Laura Ingraham
MY COMMENT: Keep in mind, you will have leverage over McCain on issues affecting conservative principles and none over Obama or Clinton. I recognize that this won't matter to a person who has given up on the Reagan Revolution and keeping America conservative or holding the line on liberalism's encroachments.
.
that’s hardly stupid.....what’s the point
“So a President Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton has the potential to set back the prolife agenda by 30 years.”
Plus, if any form of Universal healthcare is ever instituted, abortion coverage will be included.
The connection of Obama with Ayers and Dohrn has the potential to sink his candidacy. Was not Dohrn in the NYC apartment when the bomb went off and one bombmaker was killed. This husband and wife couple-founders of the Weathermen have long advocated violence against American soldiers-and Obama sits down and has coffee with them.
Someone remarked recently that the event is to be excused no one but a bomb maker died. However, the bomb was to be set at Fort Dix I believe with soliders to be the intended targets.
Hillary could knock off Obama with this-certainly McCain can.
Yeah, I was a little surprised to see that Dem leaning for NC. I can only surmise it has to do with the sentiments of the moment.
Following these polls is worthless. We are 8 months away from the election. 80% of the public is concerned with other things.
The proof that these polls are meaningless is in how much they move every day.
” This is the same crowd that thought we should teach the RNC a lesson by staying home in 2006 ! Now we have Nancy and Harry and they want to add Osama with a veto proof majority !”
Why do people continue to spew this BS about 2006?
Republicans and conservatives voted GOP, it was the moderates and INDs that voted for RATS!
Bye, bye, Hillary.
Horrible to people like you and me, but I've had my eyes opened lately. I just started back to college in pursuit of my masters. OMG.
I will say, the young people I'm coming into contact with are inquisitive and do not seem to be automatically in one camp or the other.
It's the faculty and staff that are firmly in the entitlement camp. Conservatives are really falling down on the job of educating the public in our basic values and portraying the benefits of our philosophy.
yea, and moderates are more dangerous than liberals at least I know where a liberal stands!
Ah the 37, they will still need a little work.
I DID NOT STAY HOME IN 2006. I VOTED STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN TICKET LIKE A GOOD LITTLE REPUBLICAN.
Stop blaming the voter. I voted as I was told to & now look at what I get to vote for.
No more! You wanted McCain - YOU GOT HIM.
Bite. Me.
