It doesn’t matter what their polling data is telling them right now, no matter how many liberal loons turn out in east Charlotte, Asheville, Durham and Raleigh. NC is completely safe for McCain. I’m willing to bet that McCain will easily beat his opponent in Nov, barring a major Howard Dean moment or an extreme October surprise.

Yeah, I was a little surprised to see that Dem leaning for NC. I can only surmise it has to do with the sentiments of the moment.

I think it will be more like a daily beating from the MSM.

McCain so bruised and battered, looking like a boxer in the 12th round after 200 head shots. His opponent begging him to throw in the towel. Everyone wincing after each shot connects with full force.

Was Asheville always like this. I was out there fairly frequently when I was assigned to the 82d and it seemed to be a Jesse Helms kind of place. Perhaps I was wrong.
