I’m no expert on FEC law, but methinks they are about as slow as molasses running uphill at -40. Any complaint filed now will be resolved sometime in 2010. But it allows Dean (who by the way sought and received a draft deferment during the Vietnam conflict for a back injury, only to take the time he would have spent serving his country as a ski bum in Colorado) to file, get some quotes on the wire services, and act like this is a serious threat to McCain.

Me thinks Dean is acting like a hypocrite here..If I’m not mistaking he withdrew from public financing in much the same way McCain is, back when he ran. Gephardt did too in 04’ I believe. I don’t remember any fuss over it back then(sarcasm)
