It doesn't sound like there were passengers on board. It may not have been the best idea ever, but it's impressive as hell.

Just another indication that our once-great civilization is turning into an Orwellian nanny-state.

cue the 707 barrel role tape.

Boeing needs to do the barrel roll with the Dreamliner.

The resulting “street cred” with the flying public would be priceless.

If I recall correctly, the first flight of a 707 was rolled at the same airport...just a happy guy doing what he likes to do...

A minor point: I think Cathy Pacific, has their HQ in Bermuda, but operate out of HK

On the video, it doesn’t look that dangerous. For one thing, it looks like more than 28 feet. Also, isn’t a general aviation pilot supposed to be able to control a plane at low altitude? After all, every time they take off and land, they are maneuvering the plane close to the ground.

“Chris Pratt, the chairman of Cathay Pacific, is said to have been among the VIP passengers who were on board the £100 million plane, a 777-300ER that had taken off from the plant in Everett, Washington, en route for Hong Kong, where the airline is based.”

Yep, flying that close to the dirt and soiling your boss’ Fruit of the Looms is gonna get you grounded.
