In our limited understanding, while here in this mortal existence, we fall way short in comprehending the mind of God.........Simple commands by our Creator, seem to us to be just that, simple commands.........But, not a few times, simple commands from God have more than just one meaning, or, in other words, more than one benefit........

Hence, the "simple" command, in the very beginning of mortal probation, Be fruitful and multiply, takes on yet another purpose.......

That sentiment has become a truism among social conservatives, who typically can't explain what they mean by it.

And how has he arrived at this conclusion? Are there studies to confirm it? Has he interviewed conservatives personally and asked them to explain what they mean, then find out they can't explain themselves? In order to use the modifier "typically", he would have to use a large sampling of that group to make a blanket statement like that. Where is his documentation to back up this assertion?

I am becoming increasingly annoyed with leftist writers who concoct these inflammatory conclusions out of whole cloth with no accountability. This is a form of brainwashing.

I think in America we are having a boom. We just had three people out of 50 in my command have children this week. My wife is due end of May with child number 4. I truly believe at least in my experience that 3 kids is the new 2 kids. lol.

I can only say that when a lot of these folks were starting their famlies, I was on active duty in the MARINE CORPS and proecting our rights. Now that I am older my Wife & I have started our family late in life and have 2 kids, one of which has Down Syndrome. And with that is all that we could afford to have and support. I have had a problem working more than one job [at low pay at the time] So we made a choice that is right for us. May our Daughter finish colledge and bless us with lots of grandchildren [after she graduated first]

"The disruptive powers of excessive national fecundity may have played a greater part in bursting the bonds of convention than either the power of ideas or the errors of autocracy."

John Maynard Keynes (1883–1946)
British economist. repr. In Collected Works, vol. 2 (1971).
The Economic Consequences of Peace (1919).

Our philosophical nemesis, Keynes, was theorizing that rapid population growth caused the Communist Revolution in Russia in which the "power of ideas" = Western liberalism and the the "errors of autocracy" = Czarist rule. But I think his theory points more appropriately to today, in which "power of ideas" = Conservative ideology and the "errors of autocracy" = Elite, liberal socialist central planning and economic manipulation of his (Keynes') ilk. If Muslims are overcoming Europe with demographics, then we can restore America with demographics.

The Hand That Rocks The Cradle

Blessings on the hand of women!
Angels guard its strength and grace,
In the palace, cottage, hovel,
Oh, no matter where the place;
Would that never storms assailed it,
Rainbows ever gently curled;
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.

Infancy's the tender fountain,
Power may with beauty flow,
Mother's first to guide the streamlets,
From them souls unresting grow--
Grow on for the good or evil,
Sunshine streamed or evil hurled;
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.

Woman, how divine your mission
Here upon our natal sod!
Keep, oh, keep the young heart open
Always to the breath of God!
All true trophies of the ages
Are from mother-love impearled;
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.

Blessings on the hand of women!
Fathers, sons, and daughters cry,
And the sacred song is mingled
With the worship in the sky--
Mingles where no tempest darkens,
Rainbows evermore are hurled;
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.

I am worried that the traditional way will not be the only way to procreate in the future.

I am imagining that if China or other totalitarian societies face a bearth dearth in the future they will just mass-clone them, and that later than that, future totalitarian governments will build androids, robots, or what-have-you.
