Don’t Blame Us For Berkeley/Toledo Attacks Against Marines Say Businesses

Yes we will. You put the squeeze on the Polli (Greek for Many) TICians (any Ole country boy knows what TICs are) and you wouldn't have a problem.

Deal with it!

BS. The rest of America shouldn’t hold them responsible for the Berkley attacks on the Marines, they are the ones who funded those scoundrels’ campaigns!

I say until they start supporting pro Marine Candidates: EVERYONE SHOULD HOLD THEM RESPONSIBLE!

How many of these businessmen are upset enough with city council’s decision to bother to put a sign in their window visible to customers/clients stating that they disapprove of the local government’s antiAmerican actions.

I wonder how these liberals differentiated between the South African government and South African businesses?

Oh wait...they didn't! And neither will we!

Exactly............Ted needs to pull his head out and let the businesses know who is killing their profits. It’s not the consumer killing em it’s the zipper headed idgits they elected. To promote anything in Berkley / Toledo is to aid a socialist system of asshats.

Not one dime or my time for any ville of that ilk......

Many of those squawking the loudest were probably marching in favor of sanctions against the businesses of apartheid South Africa

Sorry busness folk, but you are the ones who contribute to the campaigns of those pols, you are the ones who live in those communities, belong to the chamber of commerce, generate substantial tax revenue ... you are the ones that we can reach out and financially touch to express our displeasure and in turn, reach out to the pols. You better get your public servants on the horn and let them know which end is up.

Since I can’t vote there I shall use my power over their purse to vote for me.

I shall spend not one dollar in Berkley.

...Ah, so it isn’t the unpatriotic politicians in office who actually were the ones that attacked the Marines, it’s the fault of conservatives who have the gall to get upset by it!

amen

Absolutely. These same "businessmen" undoubtedly sat by in contentment while the crud they elected embarrassed them. How many spoke up to disavow their towns' obscene behaviors before the cancellations started? My guess is--ZERO. Fat pansy bastards deserve to pay a price for their collusion and their silence-- "good Germans," all of them.

So, the Chamber of Commerce crowd has the political power to push for shamnesty on a national scale but are helpless to fight for our Marines in Berkeley and Toledo? Sorry, I ain’t buyin’ it.

The petition

We, the undersigned condemn the Berkeley City Council’s treasonous attack on US Marine Recruiters stationed in their city. We ask that Congress cut off funds from any and all municipal entity within the confines of the city of Berkeley, California, until such time as the city council withdraws it’s action.

The City Council has voted to tell the Marines their downtown recruiting station is not welcome and “if recruiters choose to stay, they do so as uninvited and unwelcome guests.”

The measure passed last week by a vote of 8-1.

The council also voted to explore enforcing a city anti-discrimination law, focusing on the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.

In a separate item, the council voted, also 8-1, to give the Marxist protest group Code Pink a parking space in front of the recruiting office once a week for six months and a free sound permit for protesting once a week.
