I noted that in my post #19. I didn’t note that we came close in post #15. Billva, you stopped short of saying that we brought this whole thing onto ourselves. But it was close, mighty close.

It IS the fault of the republican party for giving conservatives empty promises and outright backstabs that we are looking for true conservatives. We have been lied to and manipulated long enough.

No way did I say you brought the whole thing on yourselves. However that is pretty good statement if you would get your way and purge everyone you classify as a Rino I would expect you wouldn't have a very big party.

I believe in simple math, elections are close now, purge a significant amount of people and you can't win. Simple numbers.

Quit the victim stuff, the party didn't do anything to you, there wasn't enough people turned out to vote in a candidate that you like.

That's the question you need to deal with, why didn't all these conservative voters turn out to vote for a conservative? Not who did something to you.

Ah, maybe because the voting began in liberal-leaning, open-primary states where independents and democrats could interfere in the GOP primary?

Do you really think the result would have been the same if the first primaries were held in conservative-leaning, closed primary states?
