I don’t know about this, but 3 years is plenty of time to get rid of one wife and get another. Obama’s Dad must have been a real “family man”.

Barack's father was a polygamist in later life. Barack met the wives when he was an adult and went to visit with his family in Africa.

Is apparent that Barack Sr. felt he didn't need to get a divorce in order to get married.
