I don’t care what I am called. I agree with your big picture view to an extent. My concern is that we not alienate potential voters who are saying they won’t support McCain. Obama will do most of the work there himself. McCain could do a lot to help himself, but so far nothing.

Damn thing is I had more than once been disgusted with people who come onto say, a (obviously anti-) Michael Vick thread, and these people claim to be anti-abortion; but as opposed to trying to get people to realize they might have some shared compassionate qualities, they came in firing about what jerk offs they were to give a damn about animals while babies were dying. Couldn't do more to turn off potential help. I see how I am doing my own version.
