From their homepage:
It's time we stand up for America's workers! Ask America's leaders where they stand, today.
It's a fact American workers across the country are being victimized by mass immigration. Study after study, including the recent National Bureau of Economic Research paper 12518 has proven that foreign workers are taking American's jobs and depressing wages. And while Americans from all backgrounds are being harmed, lower to middle income African American workers are being disproportionately affected.
Yet the usual defenders of America's most vulnerable are steering clear of this difficult issue or even calling for higher levels of mass immigration. It's time for America's leaders to stop standing down and begin standing up for America's workers. The only way that's going to happen is if we begin asking America's leaders where they stand.
TOPICS: Business/Economy; Culture/Society; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: border; immigration; jobs
These ads on TV starting appearing hear in the midwest last week, and i was curious of the group's background. Anyone knows who is backing these people?

"The Coalition for the Future American Worker (CFAW) is an umbrella organization of professional trade groups,
population/environment organizations, and immigration reform groups."
Red flag.

Networksolutions shows this site was registered by Karl Filippini. He is a well known anti immigration activist. Note, he is against all immigration, not just illegal, he has just adjusted his focus lately to illegal as it is a hot button topic. Karl also runs Coalition for the Future American Worker & Federation for American Immigration Reform and was one of the co-founders of Numbers USA. The other Co-founder of Numbers USA, Roy Beck, has some disturbing papers. Beck’s early papers on Numbers USA shows he was a rabid environmentalist who promoted ending immigration and increasing abortions in order to ‘save the environment’ from over population.
Now, don’t get me wrong, NumbersUSA has a lot of good information, however, always go in with a discernment knowing of what was behind its creation.

A year or so ago, I went back to NW Iowa to visit my parents, while hanging out in the town park one afternoon, there was a city contracted work crew fixing the roads and sidewalks. ALL of the workers were Mexicans speaking spanish! I was quite angry to say the least. It is a bunch of BS that we allow these people to work for next to nothing, and suck up our community recources.

What's your take on this article on their website?
40% of the decline in Black employment is due to immigration.

Had a guy show up at my door this past weekend with some type of petition (from this org). Wanted $ and me to sign and I said No to both. He did mention the word “union” which I’m not particularly fond of (due to my own personal experience).
