Obama slammed by speakers at McCain rally ( McCain repudiates the Speakers...???)

McCain says he will 'absolutely repudiate' comments by an introductory speaker who says Obama sympathizes with 'world leaders who want to kill us.'

CINCINNATI -- In a possible foreshadowing of a potentially bruising general election campaign, a speaker who introduced presidential candidate John McCain at a rally here today accused Barack Obama of sympathizing with "world leaders who want to kill us" and invoked Obama's middle name -- three times calling him "Barack Hussein Obama."

Local conservative radio talk show host Bill Cunningham described Obama as "a hack Chicago Daley-style politician who is picturing himself as change. When he gets done with you -- all you're going to have in your pocket is change," he said.

McCain quickly distanced himself from the remarks, which he did not hear, saying that using Obama's middle name in repetition like that was inappropriate. "I absolutely repudiate such comments and again, I will take responsibility," he said, calling the use of Obama's middle name inappropriate. "It will never happen again. It will never happen again."

Cunningham, warming up a crowd of about 400 people in the ornate green and gold Hamilton County Memorial Hall before McCain's arrival, accused the "stooges from the New York Times" and "sycophants in the media" of conspiring to elect Obama.

Cruise over to DU and notice how the juveniles post. The cutsey little names for their most despised people, especially repukes. That of course is what they call republicans. This forum is no different and it gets old. It also makes us look like idiots. Come on folks, we can make cogent arguments without resorting to playground behavior.

There goes the knee jerking again.....

Our Military, and our finest will be preserved, much like it was during Carter and Clinton administrations. Our finest will simply remain out of harm, they will resign or be “redeployed” and be kept safe much like is beginning to happen right now.

For God’s sake, settle down just a bit, I have seen combat the likes that even our fine soldiers of today have not seen, so assuming that I have no Military knowledge, simply because I don’t fear the Democrats is rather disingenuous.

"He’s very comfortable in accepting a minority role for Republicans in Congress. "

Sadly there are way too many like him in Congress. Compromising with Democrats on issues, letting the Dems have their way, backing down on important issues. This is what brought us to where we are today. It's no wonder Conservatives have such a sick feeling in the pit of their stomachs when they contemplate having to vote for this guy. If anybody thinks McCain isn't going to continue compromising with the Dems from the White House, you're kidding yourself.

“... saying that using Obama’s middle name in repetition like that was inappropriate. “I absolutely repudiate such comments and again,..”

Well, that should certainly win over the conservative, pro-freedom vote. Maybe if he apologizes for remarks Reagan made 30 years ago, we might win in a landslide.

McCain is a joke! He disavows Republicans more than her does Democrats! Just when I was starting to lighten up on him, here he goes with his fake Sista Souljah moment. He deserves to lose.

I think McCain opened up a great number of eyelids with this latest revelation into his character.

His “apology” to his Liberal “Colleagues” for how some mislead Conservatives who have, out of fear, come to support him, is living proof that he will turn on a dime to go against everything we stand for.

Any fool who supports him will get what they deserve in the long run, and Conservatives/GOP will be blamed for the damage and we will truly be insignificant as a party for decades to come.

All I can say is.......SUCKERS!

It is mind boggling.

I never heard anyone complain about someone saying John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

I’m just sayin’.

Do they really think that we think “saddam” when we hear his middle name? Are they that stupid? Me think he needs to embrace his “middle name”, accept it, get over it, and McCain should have never apologized.

Agreed. Interesting how some FReepers don’t bother to read and comprehend what McCain is objecting to without piling on. It is shallow dirty politics to emphasize Obama’s middle name. We don’t need to resort to such lame tactics like that. It shouldn’t even be necessary because Obama is an empty suit anyway.

Based on what Brit Hume had on Foxnews Special Report,...McCain did not hear what was said....and only knows what his advisers told him....so he may have overdone his apology....LA Times would prefer to leave out some details....but they did mention he didn’t hear the actual comments....
