CINCINNATI -- In a possible foreshadowing of a potentially bruising general election campaign, a speaker who introduced presidential candidate John McCain at a rally here today accused Barack Obama of sympathizing with "world leaders who want to kill us" and invoked Obama's middle name -- three times calling him "Barack Hussein Obama."
Local conservative radio talk show host Bill Cunningham described Obama as "a hack Chicago Daley-style politician who is picturing himself as change. When he gets done with you -- all you're going to have in your pocket is change," he said.
McCain quickly distanced himself from the remarks, which he did not hear, saying that using Obama's middle name in repetition like that was inappropriate. "I absolutely repudiate such comments and again, I will take responsibility," he said, calling the use of Obama's middle name inappropriate. "It will never happen again. It will never happen again."
Cunningham, warming up a crowd of about 400 people in the ornate green and gold Hamilton County Memorial Hall before McCain's arrival, accused the "stooges from the New York Times" and "sycophants in the media" of conspiring to elect Obama.

So will I. I can’t even imagine the damage that would be done if a demonrat became president now.
Soros and crew have a 20 million dollar fund started to destroy McCain. Heard it last night on FOX.
Both of the McCain supporters here agree with us (smile).
Can anyone find a single comment Cunninghamd made that isn’t fact based?
He’s right about Obama, folks.
The next time you hear Obama’s full legal name will be next January.
‘I, Barack HUSSEIN Obama, do solemnly swear....’
But hey, John McCain’s sense of ‘honor’ will be fulfilled, and thats whats most important, right?
(sarcasm)
McCain stabbbed this guy in the back the same way he stabs conservatives in the back all the time.
I a Cincinnatian, and Cunningham is a lively, wired, fun-loving conservative talk-show host.
McCain did himself serious damage in S. Ohio with this.

John McCain just demonstrated once again that:
1) He has nothing but contempt and loating for the right wing.
2) He is a media suck-up
3) He has a snowball’s chance in hell of getting elected
4) If he does get in he will screw conservatives more aggressively than any Dem ever could.
Only God can help America by doing something to assure McCain does not get nominated. If he is, America is finished. We can have Barack HUSSEIN Obama, or a loose cannon Democrat wannabe who suck up to the left at every opportunity.
I agree.
McCain’s gotta be aware that the guy introducing him is a local celeb, and that the radio station he’s on is one of the most powerful signals in the nation.
And Cunningham has his own coast-to-coast show.
McCain’s handlers should have him backtrack on this one and RE-apologize to Cunningham and take back those to Barak Islam Obama and Hillary Treason Clinton.
NOBODY “handles” the McCainiac. He just explodes spontaneously. Expect more from this social moron throughout the campaign. By the time November rolls around, he will have every conservative in America voting third party with his antics.
We are doomed.
Don’t be surprised if McCain actually says something just like that.
Absolutely. But you'll get neither from McCain in reference to his "good friends" across the aisle. He'll save his toughest and most scornful remarks for those he does not consider friends. That would be those narrow minded conservatives whose support he obviously believes he does not need.
He knows you have nowhere to go. So he can spit on you with impunity.
Without Satan for an opponent, who would demean themselves by voting for McCain?
Yep. I can just see Hillary's supporters flocking to that "true conservative" McCain.
You better calm down or the bogeyman(who we, henceforth, dare not mention) will get you.
I am preparing for President Barak HUSSEIN Obama.
The Republic will survive, but we are headed into a perfect storm.
McCain has used foul language with Republicans, but acts PC when it comes to Democrat Obama.
