If Ed Schultz instead of Bill Cunningham had warmed up the audience by calling President Bush a chimp, Secretary Rumsfeld a bloodthirsty old fool and Mitt Romney a polygamist, *you can bet that Sen. McCain would have made no such statement disavowing the commentary.* And most likely Sen. McCain would have known Ed Schultz and not called him “that man.”

Bill Cunningham was on Hannity today saying that he was invited to speak and whip up the audience before McCain was to speak. He did that, then gets poked in eye by McCain.
Oh, yeah, what was I thinking? Bill Cunningham is a rock-ribbed conservative. Duh.
(Cunningham has since withdrawn any support for McCain.)

Bill Cunningham will be on tonight’s Hannity & Colmes - 9pm EST. Bill is also pretty ticked that the Rezko trial is being silenced by the lamestream press.

This is exactly why at the end of the day his campaign will represent a collection of wasted opportunities. Every time I almost convince myself to get motivate, he opens his mouth.

I heard something about this on the radio, today, but I didn’t know what the person was talking about. So, according to McCain, Barack Obama’s own middle name disparages him?

How can you be disparaged by your own name.

McCain is an idiot, but I already decided that I wasn’t voting for him, so it shouldn’t matter to me.

McCain made the right decision to apologize for the speech and to categorically reject the tactic. He wants to win the election by remaining on the high road, not by appealing to fear and dislike.

McPain wouldn't want to offend any one of his elitist friends in the U.S. senate ... particularly a 'rat. This same emphasis was put on Obama's middle name (Hussein) at a Hillary rally earlier in the campaign season by none other than former senator Kerrey of Nebraska ... it was considered nothing more than a political tweak by the liberal MSM. Of course Kerrey is a screaming liberal so it's OK ...

“Sista Soulja” moment? Hardly. Just another McCain knife to the back of another conservative.

McCain did the right thing, as far as I am concerned. There is no need to us Obama’s middle name to discredit him. He did not choose his name. His parents did. Attack Obama on the things he has done...not on stuff his parents did.

Anything said during a candidate’s campaign appearance reflects on him. McCain is wise to distance himself from this kind of attack.

Clinton lied to get elected. McCain is trashing those telling the truth in order that he will look good losing.

CQ Morrissey, jumping the shark for McCain, again.

How embarrassing.

Another reason we need to help the GOP see that McCain will be a disaster in November.

The fighting instinct that was there 40 years ago in McCain has been DC’d out.

He will have to go nuclear against either of them during the campaign at some point—simple truth demands an end to this stupid pandering to Dems. They never return the favor.

This has been the GOP’s problem since 1995—go along to get along.

That is OK when your opponent is not an enemy of America.

It is not OK when you are facing Marxist traitors like Obama and criminals like Hillary Clinton.

McCain called both Democrats "honorable Americans"

Senile dementia?

I wonder if Juan Mc Cain is ticked about names that may actually be representative of loyalties?

McCain will gentleman himself to a blowout loss unless he uses the b@lls he was born with.
I take it they were not removed in Nam, right?
He is not Saint McCain, so he better get off the holier than thou trip before he is embarrassed.

I wouldn't be surprised if McCain didn’t know at the time that Obama’s middle name is Hussein but I’m sure he does now if that was the case!
