Maybe I’m a bit too pessimistic, but I was one of the ones in deep denial about the 2006 midterms, even when all the indicators pointed to a Dem win. I don’t want to make the same mistake.
McCain could pull it out, but he’s going to have to run one a*skicking campaign, and I don’t know if he has it in him. I’m not seeing it so far.
