AUSTIN, Texas - The two sons of Ann Richards, the late former Texas governor, are objecting to an Internet video published by Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign that suggests their mother would have supported Clinton. . . .
(From female voice on video):
"Today Ann would be asking all of us to make a statement. She would be traveling to every small town and big city in Texas, urging us all to take a stand, be counted, to make a difference, to make history," it says while a picture of Richards and Clinton appears on the screen. "This one's for Texas. This one's for our country. This one's for Ann."
But sons Dan and Clark Richards, partners at an Austin law firm, say nobody can know who the outspoken and opinionated former governor would have supported in the race between Clinton and Barack Obama.
"As her children, we never presumed to know her mind when alive and we are not prepared to make a claim as to who she would endorse or what she would do if she were still with us," they wrote in an e-mail last week. "We are not granting permission for her name to be used in advertisements on behalf of either candidate."

Ooooooo! That one is gonna leave a mark!
Dumbest campaign ever!
Its fairly obvious what happened. Clinton went to meet with John Edwards and when he wouldn’t come out and endorse her, she asked what he woulod do. He taught her how channel with dead people.
LOL
Was there once a time when a political party would show some civility or decorum and ask permission from surviving relatives to use the words and thoughts of a deceased person? The Democrats and, especially, the Clintons seem to just take what they want. Maybe they are getting us ready for Marxism.
That is pretty absurd. She’s gotta get endorsements from dead people now.
What’s next FDR with his wheelchair endorcing the Beast?
Poor Hillary, She can’t help it, she was born with an entitled foot in her mouth!
However, we'll tell you how our mother voted in the Primary. Said the sons. LOL
and don't forget the votes from dead people
And with their strong lawyerly pimp hand....
How stupid do you have to be to use whether or not you are going to be sued as a standard when deciding to go forward with something like this? How stupid do you have to be?
The damage comes from airing the video and then having it be repudiated by the family. The damage comes from looking like a graverobbing ghoul, and a liar to boot. The damage comes from having to apologize publically for being a graverobbing ghoul.
This response by the family is about as predictable as the sunrise, and yet they went forward with it. I would almost suspect internal sabotage in Mrs. Clinton's campaign if they had not already proven, over and over again, that they really are this stupid.
I believe Hillary. I heard that Lady Bird Johnson told her.
Or was it Eleanor Roosevelt. I get so confused on what dead first ladies Hillary use to talk to.
Well, Eleanor is on board... Why not?

Don’t you remember how they behaved at the funeral for Coretta Scott King?
And who was the democrat governor that died in a plane crash - and they turned his funeral into a classless political rally?
Liberals are nuts.
