What a miserable man...
He and John Kerry should go live in the same assisted living retirement home.

How soft your fields so green,
Can whisper tales of gore,
Of how we calmed the tides of war.
We are your overlords.

I can’t help but see a similarity between Dan Rather and Bill Clinton. Two desperate old men trying anything they can to salvage any respect they might once have had. Sadly, the harder they try, the worse it gets.

On 18 August 1973, Bill Gates was thinking about what he would pack for his trip to Harvard for freshman orientation.

The documents that Rather wants to see include a CBS-commissioned private investigator's report that he believes could back up his version of the disputed story about Bush's stint in the Texas Air National Guard. The ONLY documents that matter are the forged documents. Where is the INK signed typed letter? Doesn't exist. This was a digital fabrication using word processing software and a scan of a legit signature.
Dan Rather is a bigger con (in more ways than one) than Senator Joseph McCarthy ever was. McCarthy was right about Soviet infiltration in US government, industry, and education.
Dan is still mumbling fake but accurate.

"It is a fact that corporate overlords working in secret collusion with the powers in Washington are intruding far too often in far too many newsrooms," he said. So, it's not really lying when you're fighting such powerful and corrupt forces!

The newsman - who has filed a $70 million lawsuit against the Tiffany network, where he anchored the "CBS Evening News" for 24 years - said "corporate overlords" are conspiring to withhold several key documents. Sounds like ol' Danny Boy has been drinking from Hussein Obama's Fountain of Hope........

Dan was working WITH the corrupt forces, not fighting against them. When he ceased to be useful to them, the Stalinists threw him under the bus.

Give it up, Dan. The reason they are sitting on the documents is because they are trying to protect your senile old butt. The documents probably prove you were full of caca. The only reason Dan's not being investigated by the Feds and looking at prison time is because of the generosity of George Bush. Rather was a key player in the falsification of government documents to influence an election. And that's a felony.

I must respectfully disagree with your last sentence. The harder they try, the better it gets-at least for me.

Heck, even when I was young and was listening to this clown, I detected that unmistakable sign of complete vacuousness.Wish I could say the same. I had a HUGE crush on him (of course, I was a vapid, dimbulb young female - I wised up during the 1976 presidential election).
