First floor of Knesset evacuated

The entire first floor of the Knesset building in Jerusalem has been evacuated. No further details have been provided at present time.
MK Shlomo Molla (Kadima) confirmed the evacuation: "Security officers came to us and demanded we clear the rooms at once. No explanations were offered.

Maybe they are. There are no other details at the moment. Chances are that this will turn out to be nothing but Haaertz and Jpost have nothing which might indicate the censor is now holding news back. We’ll see shortly.

An envelope containing white powder was sent to the officer of MK Shlomo Benizri (Shas) on Wednesday afternoon.
Both Benizri and his personal aide were evacuated to a hospital.

I’d say the members of the Knesset ought to get used to this, since they have decided that it’s all right for their enemies to launch missiles into Israelis territory without fear of appropiate reprisals. Were I an Israeli, the first time I heard a Knesset member complain about having to evacuate, I’d say, “Tell it to the people of Sderot.”
Here’s how FrontPage reports Olmert’s tepid response the the attacks on his nation: “Israel under Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni does not protect him; it conducts only low-scale warfare against Gaza terror knowing that this ensures the rockets and mortars will keep flying as they have been now for seven years.” That’s disgusting.
I have a feeling this is due to his recent comments that homosexuals are to blame for earthquakes. So its probably a hoax from a gay rights group/individual.
