This should be amusing.
I doubt it will have any effect on inner city Democratic voters. It is extremely rare that they hold their corrupt politicians accountable for their actions.
However, it should at least make for some amusing mocking of Kilpatrick and his supporters for a while.

The smoldering remains of the '67 riots in Detroit were still in the noses of the radicals when Coleman came to power...his enablers were not only sheltered...but praised by his sheeple.
I must admit, i'm a bit shocked that the liberal rag(Detroit Free Press)pushed this as much as they did.
Then again, with the state of the print(dinosaur)media today it's a dog eat dog world so....bombs away!

This should be amusing. I doubt it will have any effect on inner city Democratic voters. It is extremely rare that they hold their corrupt politicians accountable for their actions. In fact there's some who'll claim he did nothing wrong, in fact it was owed to him. the ciity council is going to appelate court to fight his appeal.

Not well, very dysfunctional.
Sad thing is if you look closely, the old buildings are beautiful. Talk to old Detroit-ers that remember it in it's hay-day, they loved the city and going downtown to the big stores. It must have been a magnificent city back in the day.

http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=59998 The perjury charges would be brought by Wayne County prosecutor Kim Worthy. However, Worthy has a spotty record on upholding the rule of law and has been rumored to be complicit with the Kilpatrick administration in covering up a number of high-profile cases, including the case regarding the murder of Tamara “Strawberry” Greene, the exotic dancer present at a wild party Mayor Kilpatrick gave in 2002 at the Manoogian mansion.
On April 30, 2003, the very day Gary Brown came out with his report about the mayor’s Manoogian mansion party, Greene was viciously gunned down outside her home in a drive-by shooting. Another dancer at the “party” was later tracked down and killed in Atlanta, Ga. Mayor Kilpatrick has repeatedly said that “the party never happened” and arrogantly called the allegations of a party “an urban legend.”
Prosecutor Worthy has sat on these murder cases for five years with no trial date set. Where are the feds on this case? Since one of the murders crossed state lines, the feds now have jurisdiction to investigate these cases, but they are MIA.

I suppose I could give Kim Worthy the benefit of the doubt in that she has to follow these matters in a legal sense and thus does not have hard evidence to pursue them...then again, this is Detroit we’re talking about, where "laws" are a "biased based" inconvenience to be changed or pushed aside altogether....well at least pushed “north of 8 mile road”(to paraphrase the late corrupt originator of race politics in Detroit, the (dis)honorable Coleman Young)

"Supposedly, as the rumor goes, Kwame Kilpatrick and friends, which in some stories includes Col. Tadarial Sturdivant the Director of the state police, attended a party at the mayors mansion. Two or more strippers were supposed to be performing at the party for the guests. Kwames wife, Carlotta who still lived at the family home on Leslie Street, supposedly came to the mansion to check or see her husband. She walked in on the party and an unknown police officer, who was supposed to be watching the door, was unable to keep her out of the house and could not warn the mayor or guests. The mayor was allegedly in the process of of a lap dance by one of the strippers, whose nick name is Strawberry. Thus the wife was supposed to have caught the act and attacked the girl. Carlotta is then said to have a baseball bat which she either brings with her or finds in the house, in some versions she has The Club, which she uses to attack the girl so severely that the stripper ends up needing serious medical attention which includes a hospital stay. Upon this occurrence the party halts and the DPD officers escort all out and take the mayor and his wife home."
