I can kind of understand the grandmother though. I doubt she cares anything about the guy that killed her daughter. She is all about her grandson now who witnessed this. Does she want to help kill his dad too or let him later on at a point work thru this himself and be able to confront his dad with why? I wouldn’t be too hard on her. There were probably a lot of what ifs she had to deal with. Let him smirk. He won’t be for long and the outcome will be the same. He still dies.
