Yes they are- thanks. I can’t keep UP with it all...Maybe we need to start an Obama fact thread. This piece was written a year ago...and I do seem to remember someone brought this issue up again recently- but not certain.

The thing is with Obama- he lies with more conviction than Slick Willy did. I always knew when Clinton was stretching the facts or outright lying...he became more charming- always my first clue. Obama ..is a whole other ball game.

Since most non-FReepers have an issue with others using his middle name, e.g., Barack Hussein Obama, I think we should start refering to him correctly: the first Arab-American candidate for President.

That claim was well within the realm of possibility.

It’s something you could really believe happened, even if you later found out that King wasn’t in the parade like you thought.

But if your parents got married and conceived you before Kennedy was President, there’s no way your parent’s met because Kennedy brought your father out of Africa.

And if you were 4 years old when Selma happened, there’s no way Selma inspired your parents to get married.

But still, the question is whether Barack believes what he is saying, or if he’s just making it up. The proof would be to see if he acknowledged his error when it was pointed out. Since I can’t find any evidence that Barack has ever recanted this speech, I would say no.

Of course, in another thread someone pointed out that Barack is still saying at speeches that more young black men are in prison than are in college, when in fact about 4 times as many black men are in college. And that’s after major newspapers like the Washington Post have already TOLD him his numbers are wrong.

I think we have a good chance here to correctly and honestly point out that Barack Obama has trouble with the truth.
