Another innocent person killed by the government! What kind of insane system do we have where a career criminal can kill someone during the commission of a robbery and only have to serve 4 years?!?!?!?!

Prosecutors said Mann confronted Riddles at her job at a hotel attached to the CNN Center and dragged her by her hair to an escalator. When she tried to resist, he shot her twice, prosecutors said.

Where are the idiots who think that we need more laws to "keep guns out of the hands of criminals?" Come on I know there are some of you on this forum. I see your posts. You and the NRA and Teddy Kennedy and Sara Brady think the background checks are a good idea. You'd probably lose bladder control if it were possible (as in prior to 1968) just to mail order a gun. Well answer this one. How did the Brady law preventthis criminal from getting a gun and killing someone with it? Take your time.

He also has a murder conviction in Florida for killing someone while committing a robbery, records show. He was sentenced to 10 years for the murder but served four.

In Texas, that is capital murder and the DA usually asks the jury for the needle.

For murder while committing a robbery, I would have given him four years as well, perhaps five. That seems ample time for any new exculpatory evidence (if there is any) to come forward and for him to get his affairs in order before his extermination date, that went along with his four year sentence.

...also has a murder conviction in Florida for killing someone....

Just administration of the death penalty prevents such recidivism.
