Memo to former mainstream-media darling John McCain: I hope you are paying close attention to the MSM's palpable favoritism toward Barack Obama because we haven't seen anything yet. You think The New York Times was an exception? Just wait. I urge you to review the tape of the Ohio Democratic debate from Tuesday night.
In one sequence after another, Brian Williams and Tim Russert took proactive roles in the debate, playing "gotcha" mostly against Hillary Clinton instead of facilitating a debate between the candidates.
"So what?" MSM apologists might say. "This isn't a high school debate where we are trying to pick the best debater. This isn't about fairness to the candidates. The purpose is to elicit the most information from the candidates and test them under fire so the voters can make the most informed decision."
Yes, but when the moderators team up against one of the two candidates, the dynamics change. It's hard not to be defensive when everyone in the room who's talking is against you. That's difficult to overcome psychologically.
It reminds me of certain jury trials I've witnessed where the trial judge was noticeably prejudiced against one side and projected his feelings -- in body language, words and attitude -- to the jury. The less-favored litigant had little chance. And it was outrageously improper.

I don’t think the MSM or the libs have figured out yet; that no one really likes Hillary or Obama. We all know that Obama’s little trip into and I say laughingly sainthood is just another version of Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. There ain’t nothing there.
Or maybe that’s the yellow brick road.
Its interesting same Kill McCain Crowd has now their hearts melted for Hillary.
If she cries, both Limbaugh Brothers would cry with her.
Style over substance. It’s not about fact, it’s about how their celebrity crush makes them FEEL.
There is no substance anywhere...when Bill Buckley
passed away...90% of the Conservatives have lost the
real....one who never got the credit he deserved,
and now a bunch of wannabe’s are in the mix...
with no “Tiger” in any of them?????????? jj
The fact that the NY Times endorsed McCain on Super Tuesday while it was cranking up the lobbyist smear at the same time, is a symbol of that. So is the fact that the Times ran a second shot this week, at McCain this morning on the "natural born Citizen" false issue.
The MSM wanted Hillary as President until she demonstrated her ineptness. Not her corruption or criminality, mind you, but only her ineptness. Now, they want Obama. Either way, their flirtation with McCain is now over, since he has gone from being a burr under the Republican saddle, to the actual Republican candidate.

Now that he's effectively got the nomination, it is time for the MSM to show its real colors and begin trashing McCain..
Millions if not billions of words have been used to talk about the '08 presidential election.
In just two sentences you have summed it all up.
Thank you.
I bet McCain didn’t even see this coming.

Your previous post and this one now make it obvious that you either don’t listen to Rush’s show or you’re not paying attention (or perhaps you’re from Rio Linda).
The point was not sympathy for Hillary, but rather the obvious bias of the team of protagonists.
I listned to Rush selling his nonsense for years. Great way to make a living but terrible way to win anything.
All he does is antagonize people that we like to pursue to join us.
Now that his backed candidates have gone down, to establish his own importance, he has decided he would rather blow up the whole world than admit that he is defeated.

Well your posts make it obvious that you really don’t know his position re. Hillary. So the question remains, why do you repeatedly state what you think his position is, when you don’t have a clue?
