“Drudge is the closest player to what Walter Winchell was existing today.”
IMO, Drudge has done more for the cause of holding the MSM accountable for it’s actions than anyone else in my lifetime.
No longer can politicians comfortably bed down with reporters, schmoozing press deals that will be reported in one angle only without being challenged immediately by a current-events aware public.

Walter Winchell was a real journalist.
I have never read a Drudge-written article or essay. He just publishes synopses from others with a link to their work. I don't know what that makes him, but he's no journalist.

Now, how did he get this info? Really, how?
A leak from the Military? Access to something secret?
How would he get this?

“Access to something secret?”
Obviously.

Did anyone hear Colmes last night on the Obama native garb pics? He said they were on FR before Drudge picked them up.

Journalist? I don’t think so...he’s a CLEARING HOUSE.

He does write occasional articles for his site, usually some scoop he’s gotten. He also had his popular Sunday night radio show where he expressed many opinions on current events.
And, when it comes to journalist, we have very few as they mostly give us a lot personal opinions and political activism disguised as objective journalism. There are very few journalists around these days.
