WASHINGTON -- U.S. President George W. Bush on Thursday sharply criticized foreign policies advocated by Democratic front-runner Barack Obama, saying it would be a mistake to meet the leaders of Iran and Cuba without preconditions or swiftly change course in Iraq.

Every time I think of Obama, I think :" Oh! Bumer" hence I call him Obumer. Obumer is seen in Muslim clothes but that does not mean anything. Obumer's wife is not proud of this country, but that does not mean anything. Obumer wants to slice Israel to pieces but that does not mean anything. Obumer now wants to meet with the terrorists but that does not mean anything.

All I can say is Oh! Bumer hence the name Obumer. Catchy isn't it?

I like it. I have started using a zero, instead of an upper case O, when I write his name to represent his qualifications to be president.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama going to talk to Castro would be like Little Red Ridinghood going to see her loving grandma only to find the Wolf waiting to eat her.

What exactly would be wrong with meeting with Castro without any preconditions?

But Hussein is too stupid to know it. I just bet he wants to be a dictator, just like his idol, Fidel.

I’ll bet Duh-bya can’t name a single previous President who placed preconditions on an enemy prior to meeting with them, including Nixon & China, Reagan & USSR.

Castro is a known quantity. Ask the Cubans in Florida what is wrong with that. Castro is the latin version of Sadam.

What preconditions did GHW Bush place on Saddam Hussein before sending Rumsfeld to meet with him?

An excellent question, sir. The answer depends, of course, on what such a meeting would be hoping to accomplish. Absent such information, it's not reasonable to say "never."

So, still, why the need for preconditions? What would they have to be, and why?

You just made my point by asking this question. The outcome of the meeting was a big fat zero. The outcome of meeting with him was great if you have nothing better to do.

heard report that Mrs Obama (and others, including part of the RNC) is critical of those using Mr Obama’s middle name. Questions: 1) is Mr or Mrs Obama ashamed of the middle name? 2) Pres Bush was called a liar, stupid, lazy, compared to Hitler......if the Obamas are so sensitive about a clear “fact”, Hussein is Obama’s middle name, how will he and his wife react when his opponents call him a liar, devious, lazy, compare him to Karl Marx....

Nothing. This whole "preconditions" business has just been a way of saying, sorry, we're never going to meet with you. That's because the preconditions are full and fair elections and the release of all political prisoners. Imagine if Reagan had taken that line with Gorbachev. Sorry, Gorby, I'm not going to meet with you until you hold full and fair elections and release all political prisoners. Uh-huh.
