Barack Obama and the Muslim call to prayer

On this day in 2007, Barack Hussein Obama said the Muslim call to prayer is “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth.” In an interview with The New York Times, Senator Obama recited, “with a first-class [Arabic] accent,” the opening lines of this prayer:

“Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that Muhammad is his prophet... “

Does this scare anyone else?????

To say that Obama is popular among Muslims in Southeast Asia would be an understatement. Almost all Indonesians see Barack Hussein Obama as one of their brethren. His childhood in Indonesia, his Muslim heritage, his Muslim name, his black hair and brown eyes, his opposition to the War in Iraq and his sympathy towards the cause of Muslims around the world convinces Indonesians that Obama is one of their own. For Indonesians it is simple, if he walks like a Muslim and talks like a Muslim, then he is a Muslim.

Under Islamic law, the way one BECOMES a Muslim is by reciting the above. I doubt Hussein is so ignorant of Islam that he would not know this

I'm glad you can see that...yet there are many on FR who are in total denial. It's going to be an uphill battle all the way. I'm an Aussie. We believe in giving everyone a 'fair go' but a muslim CIC of the USA is beyond my comprehension. It would be seen by islam to be a total capitulation to islam and a reward for the horror of 9/11. What more proof would islam need that terrorism works?
