Yeah, Republicans will still donate to the McCain campaign come August and it’ll be business as usual, and they’ll keep on him about his stupid runs to the left, because he’s more right than left, especially when it comes to Hussien or Rodham.
My tagline pretty much speaks for itself; I voted for Fred before he dropped out. I’m stuck with the choices of others.

I hear you, however, I think the GOP is going to be sadly mistaken this time. With his record, all the Democrats have to do is talk about his record and this will continually demoralize the base.
Fundraising may increase, but it won't be nearly enough.
But I guess we will see, won't we?

Yeah, Republicans will still donate to the McCain campaign come August and itll be business as usualIf McCain doesn't self-destruct before August.
And this thread might be insight towards that potential. No one wants to donate to a McCain candidacy, and Soros isn't going to go out of his way to contribute to McCain now that he's "heir apparent" for the GOP.
However by June/July, some higher-ups in the party may start getting nervous when they find their expensed meals are relegated to McD's and Denny's rather than Ruth-Chris and Vick's. McCain will respond with his usual sensitivity and self-restraint:
