I saw this question on an earlier thread. This needs to be researched. Someone should send this to Hill and Bill. We know the RNC doesn’t have the

Obamination and Hildebeest, if elected, will see a severe fall off in recruitment numbers and in re-enlistment. Which also means that the job market will be flooded with people leaving the service and moving into the private sector.
I predicted over dinner conversation several months ago that a Clintoon or Obamalamadingdong win will herald a re-institution of the draft.
Of course, they can pull all the troops out of the bushliedpeopledied war in Iraq, which they say they don’t believe in an which isn’t, according to them, accomplishing anything anyway.

For the first time in our history we are paying our military what they are worth.
After they enact a draft I predict that bonuses, college money, pay, etc will be cut to save money.
After all if the military don’t have to worry about recruiting and retention then why spend the money.
Our troops deserve better.

If it looks like Kennedy and Johnson's draft, 90% of those drafted will be dhimmicrats or dhimmicrat's wards.

"Of course, they can pull all the troops out of the bushliedpeopledied war in Iraq, which they say they dont believe in an which isnt, according to them, accomplishing anything anyway."As I recall, Peanut Brain campaigned on promises to cut back on the military and intelligence services. A friend of mine was there the first time he had an intel briefing. He walked in all cocky and relaxed and came out ashen-faced.
He found out that all of his campaign promises were based on ignorance.

It is hard to believe that either Obama or McCain would ever consider reinstitution of the draft. Nixon’s ending of the draft ended the massive antiwar protests and civil unrest associated with the Vietnam War. It may be unfair to have many of the most patriotic and courageous young men in America to shoulder the burden of defense of the nation by themselves, but they did volunteer for it. The political elite in effect offered a social contract to the American people in 1973: we will engage in international conflicts as we see fit, but we will not force your sons or daughters to fight in them. Breaking that contract in 2009 or 2010 will have massive repercussions.

Ignorance was the cornerstone of that administration, as I recall. Now, of course, I think the man’s totally demented.

For the first time in our history we are paying our military what they are worth.Sorry...there's just no way that we are paying them anything near what they are worth, especially the officers and NCOs. Just go to the pay tables and check...they're at least 25% below parity and that includes the much ballyhooed "tax" advantages.

People wouldnt volunteer to serve under Obama or Billary. I think we have a winner. Why, exactly, would they? There is no honor in it, from the "liberal" POV. You can readily imagine Bush making an advertisement for military volunteers.
Can you see Hillary Obama making an appeal for volunteers?
