Juvenile and the Cash Money Crew of which he is a member have a reputation in the hiphop world for being extremely weak lyricists with boring and derivative rhymes.

They do not occupy the position in the hiphop genre that the Beatles and Rolling Stones do in classic rock or that Strait and Jackson do in Nashville country.
