I have a friend who is Indian. When we go out to Indian restaurants he cracks me up. He starts sweating up a storm when eating spicy stuff. He is constantly wiping his forehead with his napkin!!
Here in NYC, we’re starting to see more Hakka Chinese- those are the ethnic Chinese who have lived in Calcutta for years, and adapted their recipes. Think Chinese food with Indian spices. You have NO idea what spicy is until you’ve had that food. All the water & beer in the world won’t put out the fires.
